Overview

AI Charts is a full-screen, interactive charting terminal designed for power users who want to overlay ML-generated trading strategies and custom technical indicators directly onto candlestick charts. Unlike the standard Charting page (which uses TradingView), AI Charts uses a proprietary charting engine that integrates natively with ALEEP ML signals and a library of configurable strategy plugins.

Workspace Layout

Watchlist Sidebar

The left panel contains your personal watchlist. Add symbols to quickly switch between charts. Click any symbol in the watchlist to load its chart. Use the input at the top to add new symbols.

Top Toolbar

The toolbar shows the current symbol, a search bar for switching tickers, and the timeframe selector. The crosshair data display shows OHLCV values as you hover over the chart. When strategies are active, a legend bar shows the current signal labels.

Chart Area

The main chart renders OHLCV candlesticks with any active indicator overlays and strategy signals. Strategy signals appear as colored markers (BUY, SELL, SHORT, COVER) directly on the price chart.

Note

When strategies are active, the chart auto-polls for new data at the interval shown above. A pulsing green “LIVE” badge appears in the toolbar when polling is active.

Indicators

Click the Indicators dropdown to toggle technical overlays. Indicators are grouped into two categories:

Overlays (drawn on the price chart)

●Moving Averages (SMA, EMA at various periods)
●Bollinger Bands
●VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price)
●Ichimoku Cloud
●Pivot Points

Oscillators (drawn in separate panels below the chart)

●RSI (Relative Strength Index)
●MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)
●Stochastic Oscillator
●Volume bars
●ATR (Average True Range)

Each active indicator shows in the legend bar with its color code. Toggle any indicator on or off at any time without losing your other settings.

Strategy Overlays

The Strategies dropdown is what sets AI Charts apart. Each strategy generates BUY/SELL (or SHORT/COVER) signals that appear directly on the chart as colored markers.

ALEEP Signals Strategy

The flagship strategy connects to the ALEEP ML backend. It runs the K-Nearest Neighbors pattern recognition model on the current symbol and timeframe, then overlays the generated signals on the chart. Signals include Start Long (green up arrow) and End Long (red down arrow) markers at the exact bars where the model triggered.

Plugin Strategies

Additional strategies from the strategy registry are grouped by category (Trend, Momentum, Volatility, etc.). Each plugin has configurable parameters accessible via the gear icon next to its name. Parameters include things like lookback periods, threshold values, and smoothing factors.

Tip

Strategy parameters are saved to your browser's local storage, so your custom configurations persist between sessions. Use the “Reset to defaults” option if you want to start fresh.

How to Use

●Navigate to AI Charts from the sidebar
●Enter a symbol in the search bar or select one from your watchlist
●Select a timeframe appropriate for your trading horizon
●Open the Indicators dropdown and enable the overlays you want to see
●Open the Strategies dropdown and enable ALEEP Signals or any plugin strategy
●Click the gear icon next to a strategy to configure its parameters
●Hover over the chart to see OHLCV crosshair data and signal annotations
●Add symbols to your watchlist for quick switching between charts
●Strategies auto-poll for live data — watch for the green LIVE badge

Combining with Other Tools

●Identify candidates from the Screener or Composite Ranking, then analyze them in AI Charts with ML overlays
●Use ALEEP Config to tune the ML model, then visualize the tuned signals in AI Charts
●Compare AI Charts strategy signals with ALEEP Signals table data for confirmation
●Check Market Regimes before trading — momentum strategies work best in trending regimes
