Open in App

Overview

Fundamental Ranking evaluates companies based on their financial health across four key dimensions: Growth, Profitability, Valuation, and Financial Health. Each dimension produces a sub-score, and they are combined into an overall 0-10 Fundamental Score.

Sub-Score Components

Growth Score

Measures revenue and earnings expansion rates. Looks at year-over-year revenue growth, EPS growth, and forward growth estimates from analysts.

Profitability Score

Evaluates operating efficiency through gross margin, operating margin, net margin, return on equity (ROE), and return on assets (ROA).

Valuation Score

Assesses whether the stock is under- or over-priced relative to fundamentals using P/E ratio, P/S ratio, P/B ratio, EV/EBITDA, and PEG ratio against sector medians.

Financial Health Score

Evaluates balance sheet strength through debt-to-equity ratio, current ratio, interest coverage, and free cash flow generation.

How to Use

  • Sort by Fundamental Score for the strongest overall financial profiles
  • Filter by sector to compare companies within the same industry
  • Look for high growth with reasonable valuation (high Growth + high Valuation)
  • Use the Health sub-score to avoid companies with balance sheet risk
  • Compare sub-scores to understand where a company's strength or weakness lies

Tip

High fundamental scores combined with low valuation sub-scores may indicate potential value opportunities. Always cross-reference with technical signals for timing.
